“All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up.” – Pablo Picasso

All children are artists and I was no exception. Throughout my life I have looked for one creative outlet after another; learning a new technique in painting one day, a neat little trick in photography the next, and trying to figure out why my sculpture looks creepier than the model the day after. And like any other child, I was fascinated with watching cool animations and playing video games, though never grew out of them. Finding time to play games as a responsible adult can be tricky; especially if you are supposed to be improving your art skills in your free time. That was the case for me, until one day my decision to take on my dream guided me to continue my higher education at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

With a degree in Graphic Design and a background in Fine Arts, I aced through my grad school, not only learning how to use my traditional art skills to make appealing characters and environments, but also found the value of working in teams. First, in a small student game team and then alongside a team of extremely talented artists while making an animated short, Orientation Center for the Unseen, which got accepted into six different festivals and won a prize as well.

My life-long passion for learning didn’t stop there since I’ve had the chance to share my fascination with an amazing community of like-minded people at PAX West, GDC, and CTN-X, none of which I have missed since 2013! And even now, my love for working as a 3D Artist doesn't prevent me from pursuing my diverse interests and still be involved with traditional painting and sculpting or the occasional making of accessories for professional theater.

But rest assured, I’ll always make time to meet new people and make friends in between running races, kickboxing, taking acting workshops, and learning how to sing and play an instrument! So, feel free to drop me a line either for getting in touch regarding opportunities, or to just say hello! :o)
